In a recent scholarship giveaway for students bound for culinary school, Dallas student, Emily Green, outshone her peers. Green, a culinary arts student at The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of Dallas, has been awarded one of ten $2500 Yum-o! Organization scholarships, compliments of Rachel Ray Yum-o! Organization and the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF).

According to the Yum-o! Organization's web site, these scholarships are awarded to "graduating high school seniors who have enrolled in a post-secondary foodservice program to support their dreams of pursuing a career in the foodservice industry."

Emily Green, a National Honor Society member and Texas scholar, will use her award to pursue her dream of becoming a professional chef and caterer by enrolling in the Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management program at The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of Dallas.
