Faculty

Many of our faculty are experienced professionals with impressive achievements in their fields of expertise. They continue to be involved in contemporary creative trends and techniques and share that knowledge with their students. Our faculty know first-hand what employers need and they provide practical, hands-on education that meets those needs.

Career Services

Getting an education is a major goal, but it's one which usually leads to the real goal - landing that all-important first job that launches your career. To help make that leap, our students turn to the personalized, comprehensive services offered by the school's Career Services Department.

Ideal Location

As the fastest growing city in South Carolina, Charleston offers the best of a vital economy while maintaining its historic charm. A 90-mile stretch of oceanfront boasts one of the world's most productive ports and offers sandy beaches to half a million residents. In addition to water sports, golf and fishing, cultural attractions range from antebellum architecture and museums to modern arts festivals and theatrical productions.

Culinary Arts

Our culinary students come to us from different levels of experience but they all share the same thing - a passion for cooking. And they know something else: There are no shortcuts to a great culinary education. It's why they are here.

Our students learn traditional, fundamental cooking skills. And they learn the realities of working in restaurants and the food service industry.

Watch the professionals at work as you pass by the kitchen of your favorite restaurant. It's orchestrated chaos and hard work. It's opportunity in a thriving industry, just waiting for your vision of the next great meal. Discover your culinary vision through the following programs:

  • Culinary Arts (AA)
  • Culinary Arts with a concentration in Baking & Pastry (AA)
  • Culinary Arts Management (BS)
  • Culinary Arts: Skills (C)
